Birch Tar Essential Oil is a dark brown, thick and viscous essential oil. It has an odour reminiscent of tar, charred wood and smoke. Many have compared it to the scent of a campfire. It is derived from bark of Betula pendula. It pairs well with earthy, minty and woodsy essential oils.
